For a small business it is very important that you will be able to use and alter the systems you have - there is no fallback option to call an inhouse IT-department and "staff development" can be very expensive.

I will be happy to discuss what kinds of systems you need - or maybe a short term assistant will get you up to date with backoffice side of business - and how much you want to invest.

Here are some examples of different systems - your needs will determine what else we'd create.

HTML Newsletter
Letting your clients know on regular intervals what is going on with you business is a great way to keep them returning to do business with you - be it informing about new products or services, general marketing or special promotions
You have received those colourful emails from big companies with different text styles, logos and embedded pictures; let's arrange the same for you!

There is web-based software which has been tested over and over again to ensure that the coding behind the newsletter will be accepted by your clients' email software (Outlook, Entourage, Hotmail, you name it). There is also tools to help deal with importing your existing email addresses, clients subscribing and unsubscribing etc etc. Subscription to this kind of software has a fee, which depends on the number of contacts you have.

Other option is to create a HTML newsletter on it's own: this means no subscription fees to software companies, but on the other hand you won't have the tools and extensive research ensuring that your message will reach your clients.
